Tonight, you can enter to win a 1-year subscription to Homeschooling Today - encouragement sent right to your mailbox four times a year! Here’s how we keep things energized in the winter: Getting out to indoor options more such as museums, shows (symphony, ballet, etc.), tours of local businesses, and good ol’ fashioned playdates with other HS families. We also try to embrace & enjoy winter as much as we can, taking the girls skiing, sledding, ice skating, firing up the wood stove, baking for gifts, etc.

No winter doldrums here. We live in Florida! Took the girls to the beach today! Could always use some tips for when it’s too hot to go outside during the summer!

We usually take a quick trip to see friends or family for a few days. When we do, we try to go somewhere we have not been before, like a science museum.
