The winter doldrums are notorious for hitting homeschool moms during the long winter days in January and February when spring seems so far away. A great way to combat the winter blues is with a subscription to Homeschooling Today magazine. Tonight, you can enter to win a 1-year subscription to Homeschooling Today - encouragement sent right to your mailbox four times a year! HST Logo Earlier this year, Homeschooling Today came full circle when Alex and Ashley (Strayer) Wiggers, homeschool graduates and owners of Paradigm Press LLC, became the new publishers of Homeschooling Today magazine. We just embrace the season…snowball fights inside (paper wads, catapults, marshmellows, etc.), freezing water balloons outside…they make the most awesome ice marbles!! We also have PE day in a church gym, field trips and educational movies! :)

Well since I live in NC we have ever changing weather… We had ice this weekend and the kids were tired of being inside but luckily today was 70 so we spent the day outside soaking up the sunshine and fresh air and did most of our school on the driveway with sidewalk chalk.

Fieldtrips!! Taking our workbooks to the library afterwards instead of coming straight home. Getting together with a like-minded Mom during the day for some tea & letting the kids play
