My favorite historical figure is Victoria Claflin Woodhull. No one knows who she is and she was such an integral part of women’s history in the US.

I didn’t realize what my favorite period in history was until this year. I have been learning about early American History (going though Paths of Settlement with my two children) and am entranced (Revolutionary War, Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, Civil War). I know in the way distant past I have studied all of this, but my memory must be VERY bad. I have so thoroughly enjoyed this year’s curriculum. It helps that we live on the east coast so we are able to visit many historical sites.

Since this is our first year homeschooling, and history was never my favorite subject, I would love this timeline set to make it more interesting… not only for my kids, but me too! I guess my “favorite” period in history would have to be any time during the 1800’s.

My favorite…too many to pick a favorite! Ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt and of course, the Middle Ages!
