Exploration Unit Packages

Paths of Exploration is a 36-week, six-unit curriculum for grades 3-5. The curriculum is available in variety of configurations, including as a Complete Package, as Individual Teachers Guides, and (presented below) as Individual Unit Packages.

The individual six-week units can be completed independently as best fits your schedule, interests, and needs. For example, if you are planning a trip to Plimoth Plantation you may want to do a six-week unit on the Pilgrims. Visiting historic Jamestown? Learn about the significance of this colony in the six-week Jamestown unit.

For the most part, these units can be completed as stand-alone studies with one key exception—writing is taught incrementally throughout the 36 weeks, beginning with the first unit, Columbus.
